About Us

George Youngblood, LCDC, ADCIII, NCACI, ICADC

Executive Director

George has been successfully counseling adolescents and families for over fifteen years. He has provided training for the staff of several local school districts including Spring Branch ISD, Katy ISD and Houston ISD. He has also trained hundreds of counselors and other mental health professionals on adolescent specific counseling approaches. In addition, George is a published author on the subject of substance abuse and dependence and is a founding member of The National Alliance for Adolescent Behavioral Health, a coalition promoting advocacy and training for treatment professionals.

Jamie L. Loveland, LMSW

Clinical Director

Jamie has been working with dually diagnosed adolescents and adults since 2004. She has experience with these populations in both outpatient and inpatient settings including the Yale Child Conduct Clinic in New Haven, CT and the Menninger Clinic in Houston, TX. Jamie received her master's degree from Smith College School for Social Work and is licensed to practice in the State of Texas. As a licensed master social worker she provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental,emotional and behavioral disorders, conditions, and addictions. Areas of clinical interest include military and civilian trauma, adolescent psychosocial issues, couples therapy and Axis II etiology and treatment protocols. She is a published researcher and serves as an advisor for the Houston-Galveston Trauma Institute and as a Field Instructor for the University of Texas School of Social Work.

Jesse Frazier, CI

Alternative Peer Group Coordinator, Counseling Intern 

Jesse has spent over a decade managing the day-to-day activities for alternative peer groups across Houston. He has planned wilderness retreats and is the Founder and co-planner of Houston's only Sober Prom “The Annual Sprom” which attracted over 300 participants its first year. He is connected to and consults with many church youth groups through out the greater area and continues to work in tandem with other outpatient agencies and alternative peer groups to form a strong community of recovering teens and their families.

Tammy S. Fountain, LPC, ATR-BC, CGP

Group Therapist
 
Tammy has been serving young people and their families in the Houston-Galveston area since 1993. Currently, she works in delivering outpatient treatment to both dually diagnosed adolescents and adults, who have a wide-array of addictions, including co-dependency. She has had the privilege of working in both medical and psychiatric hospitals such as Shriners Burns Hospital for Children and The Menninger Clinic’s Professionals in Crisis Program. Tammy’s credentials include Licensed Professional Counselor, Art Therapist Registered-Board Certified and Certified Group Psychotherapist. She has been trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and has been described by patients as a clinically astute creative arts therapist who has the patience of Job, yet tells it like it is. Tammy provides training and supervision for licensed professionals, serves on the board for the Houston Group Psychotherapy Society and believes that the world would be a happier place if we all practiced the Twelve Steps.

Betsie McClimans

Office Manager

Betsie has worked in the medical field for more than a decade throughout the U.S. and in the greater Houston area. She has extensive experience with billing, medical records, working with third party providers, drug testing and patient care. Betsie graduated from Colorado Technical University with her Bachelors' in Business Administration in 2007.

 Rob Hammett, CI

 Youth Staff, Counseling Intern

Rob has spent over a decade volunteering his time with various Alternative Peer Groups throughout the Houston area. He has staffed various retreats and functions with Teen and Family Services for many years. Rob has been involved working with recovering teens for over fifteen years and is currently persuing his license in chemical dependency counseling.
