Tyler is an LCDC and a person in long term recovery. Tyler’s personal recovery started at Teen and Family Services (TAFS) when he was 18 years old. Because of his success story that started with TAFS, Tyler begun working with people and families who struggle with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. Tyler has been working in the mental health profession for 10+ years. Throughout that time, Tyler has worked with adults, young adults, and veterans. But his passion is working with adolescents and families. Tyler has experience in residential care, supportive residential, and is the former Manager of the adolescent outpatient programs for all of Houston at Memorial Hermann Prevention and Recovery Center (PARC). Tyler has come full circle and is now giving back to Teen and Family Services the many blessings and gifts he received. Tyler’s dedication to adolescents and families has impacted hundreds of lives, families, and their communities.
